The comprehensive economic partnership agreements program during 2025 continues its career that it started by expanding the network of commercial and investment partners of the UAE around the world in a way that enhances the state’s position and its presence in the field of open and multilateral trade worldwide in the world.

The UAE is currently working to complete the negotiations of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement with a number of countries in the world with a large economic impact, especially with Japan, which negotiations with it before the end of the current year 2025, which reflects the keenness of the two friendly countries to enhance economic cooperation and open new prospects for development partnership in a way that contributes to supporting economic prosperity and creating more opportunities for the business community in the two countries.

The results of the 4 most important agreements that came into effect showed positive growth in the volume of non -oil trade, as trade between the UAE and India grew by 20.5 %, while the percentage of Emirati exports to India increased by 75 % at the end of the year 2024.

Trade with Turkey witnessed a growth of more than 11%, Indonesia, with a growth of more than 15% and Georgia, with more than 56%, which reflects the positive impact of comprehensive economic partnership agreements and their important results that appeared on the ground and translated by foreign trade numbers, whose results usually appear after 5 years or more of their entry into force.

Comprehensive economic partnership agreements are positively reflected in the state’s foreign trade data, which is witnessing continuous growth, as the partnership agreements program contributed to accelerating this upward path towards achieving the targets of foreign trade within the vision of “We Emirates 2031” that aims to reach the value of non -oil foreign trade from the states of the state to 4 trillion dirhams and draw the path of increasing Emirati exports of non -oil goods to 800 billion dirhams by general solutions 2031.

The positive impact of comprehensive economic partnership agreements was reflected in various sectors, especially the non -oil foreign trade, as well as re -export services, “logistical services and clean and renewable energy sectors, products, solutions and applications of advanced technology, financial services, green industries, advanced materials, agriculture and sustainable diets“.
