المملكة: Jeddah .. The confiscation of 4,3 tons of vegetables and fruits from sellers violating Azizia

The Municipality of Jeddah Governorate confiscated large quantities of vegetables and fruits, estimated at 4.3 tons, which were offered for sale in violation of vehicles and random powers, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance field control, reduce negative phenomena and improve the urban scene in the governorate.
This confiscation came as a result of an intense field control campaign implemented by the Al -Azizia sub -municipality within its supervisory scope.

Reducing irregular practices

Eng. Heba Al -Balawi, the mayor of Al -Azizia, the sub -municipality of Al -Azizia, explained that this campaign comes within the relentless follow -up of informal violations and practices whose negative effects are not limited to the general appearance of neighborhoods, but rather extending to the impact on general hygiene levels and threatening the safety of food products offered to consumers.
She pointed out that the municipality’s field teams confiscated all seized quantities, and work is underway to take the necessary regular measures against violators in accordance with the regulations and instructions.
Al -Balawi emphasized the continuity and intensification of the supervisory efforts implemented by the municipality, in cooperation and fully coordination with the relevant authorities, with the aim of ensuring that such violations are not repeated and the preservation of the gains that are achieved in the field of improving the urban environment.

In this context, the mayor of Al -Aziziya sub -municipality called on the general citizens and residents to play their active societal role and contribute to these efforts, through the initiative to immediately report any municipal violations that are monitored, whether through the application of “my municipality” for smart phones or through direct contact with the Unified Communications Center on the number 940, stressing that this constructive cooperation is an essential pillar of improving the quality of life And upgrading the level of municipal services provided to all.
