المملكة: “Trade” shows the method of writing the trade name that is compatible with the new system

The Ministry of Trade clarified the method of writing the trade name that is compatible with the new system when submitting the application electronically through the platform of the Saudi Business Center.
Where it was sufficient to book the trade name only without specifying the type of entity of the establishment (Foundation-Company), and without specifying the type of commercial activity, in the context of facilitating procedures to start commercial work.

New commercial names system

The new commercial names system and its executive regulations enhance confidence in the commercial environment by organizing the procedures for reserving commercial names and registered them in the commercial registry, enhancing their value, ensuring their protection and related rights.
It should be noted that the system of commercial names and its executive regulations entered into force on Thursday 3 April 2025 CE, corresponding to 5 Shawwal 1446 AH.
