A commercial war .. Trump threatens China because of its revenge measures

US President Donald Trump has vowed to impose more customs duties on China if Beijing has not retired from retaliatory measures, which increases the risks of a commercial war.
Trump’s threat came on Monday, which he posted on the social media platform, after China said it would respond to the customs duties announced by the United States last week.
Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth, “If China does not withdraw the increase in the fees on American products by 34% by tomorrow, the United States will impose an additional 50% additional fees on China, and it will come into implementation on April 9 … Moreover, all talks with China will be suspended regarding its request to hold meetings with us,” Trump wrote on the social media platform.

American imports

At the same time, Trump continues to challenge the American and global financial markets that have been declining since he announced the imposition of comprehensive fees on US imports last Wednesday.
“Be strong, brave and patient, and greatness will be the result,” he wrote on the social media platform.
