The President of the State discusses relations with the President of the Kurdistan region of Iraq

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today Nechirvan Barzani, President of the brotherly Kurdistan region of Iraq, who is on a work visit to the state.

His Highness discussed with Nigervan Barzani – during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – various aspects of relations between the United Arab Emirates and the brotherly Republic of Iraq in general and the Kurdistan region in particular, and the possibilities of developing cooperation and expanding its horizons in a way that brings good and growing on the two brotherly peoples and contributes to achieving their aspirations towards the sustainable development and prosperity.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues and topics in common concern.
