Urgent.. Al-Ahly sweeps Shasab Kabylie by four in the opening of the African Champions League group stage

Al-Ahly club opened its campaign in the group stage of the African Champions League with a major victory over JS Kabylie of Algeria, with a score of 4–1, in the match hosted by Cairo International Stadium.
Al-Ahly started the match with fierce offensive pressure from all sides and with complete possession of the ball during the first quarter of an hour. The danger was clearly evident through the movements of Ashraf Bin Sharqi and Ahmed Zizo, while the JS Kabylie team was content to rely on counterattacks.
The first real warning from Al-Ahly came in the 11th minute, when Bin Sharqi fired a powerful shot that the goalkeeper deflected to a corner, which was the starting point of a torrent of red attacks.
Disallowed goal and wasted opportunities
The 23rd minute witnessed Mohamed Sharif scoring a goal that was disallowed by the referee due to offside after an organized offensive attack in which Zizo and Ben Sharqi participated, which raised objections from Al-Ahly players. Just two minutes later, Aliou Dieng almost opened the scoring with a ball that he put over the crossbar after a perfect pass from Zizou.
The flow of attempts did not stop, as Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet missed a clear, one-on-one opportunity in the 26th minute after failing to exploit his incursion into the area, so Al-Ahly imposed its complete control without the opponent succeeding in keeping up with his fast pace.
A red double before the break
The Red Giants translated their advantage with the first goal in the 36th minute when Trezeguet rose to Zizou’s corner, and put the ball with a powerful header into the net. After only three minutes, Al-Ahly returned for the second visit after a magical pass from Bin Sharqi put Mohamed Sharif in front of the goal to score the second goal, ending the half with a deserved lead of 2–0.
A defensive error gives Kabylie a goal… strong red roses
Shabab Kabylie’s performance improved relatively in the second half, before the team scored an own goal in the 57th minute after confusion between Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed El-Shenawy that ended with the ball entering the net.
Despite the goal, Al-Ahly regained its balance early and continued the pressure until Trezeguet was able to score the third goal in the 84th minute after a ball bounced off a shot by the returning Imam. Ashour.
In the 93rd minute, Emam Ashour crowned his return from injury by scoring the fourth goal with a powerful shot inside the area.
Early lead in the group
With this result, Al-Ahly leads the second group with 3 points, ahead of Young Africans, who beat the Royal Army with a clean goal, while JS Kabylie is in last place without points.
