المملكة: Saudi Arabia and South Sudan are discussing enhancing industrial and mining cooperation

Hold Professor Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef held a bilateral meeting today with his counterpart in Atung Kuol, to discuss ways to develop industrial and mining cooperation between the two countries.
This came on the sidelines of the eleventh Ministerial Conference for the Least Developed Countries (LDCMC11), which was hosted by the capital.
Smart Industrial Cities
During the meeting, ways of strengthening industrial and mining relations between Saudi Arabia and South Sudan were reviewed, in addition to discussing opportunities for South Sudan to benefit from Saudi Arabia’s expertise in developing and operating smart industrial cities, and developing the food industry sector.
As well as enhancing cooperation in the mining and metals sector in order to enhance the flexibility of global supply chains.
The meeting witnessed the presence of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industry Affairs, Engineer Khalil Bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan to the Kingdom, Mayom Iler Nyok, and a number of officials from both sides.
Expanding the integration of countries
The fall meeting with the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of South Sudan comes on the sidelines of the eleventh Ministerial Conference for the Least Developed Countries, which is hosted by Riyadh, organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. "UNIDO" In cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
It aims to facilitate access to finance, enhance the exchange of knowledge and technologies, stimulate trade, and expand the integration of least developed countries into regional and global value chains.
