"Federal National" It holds its ninth session April 16th

Abu Dhabi, April 11/ WAM/ The Federal National Council, chaired by His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Chairman of the Council, holds its ninth session of the second regular session of the eighteenth legislative term, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in the Zayed Hall at the Council’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, during which the issue of government policy in strengthening the role of government media to establish content and consolidate the national identity, and asks four questions to government representatives.

According to the agenda of the session, the members of the Council will ask four questions, including three questions to His Excellency Sana bint Muhammad Suhail, Minister of Family, where His Excellency Mona Khalifa Hammad will ask two questions about the establishment of permanent residence centers for people of determination at the state level, and the creation of a unified procedure at the state level to serve the positions of the owners of determination, and the third from His Excellency Sheikha Saeed Al -Kaabi about the services provided to senior citizens, while the fourth question will be asked by Dr. Adnan Hamad Al Hammadi to His Excellency Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Community Protection, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, on enhancing the adoption of electronic identity to facilitate procedures.

The Council informs three messages issued to the government regarding the council’s request to discuss public issues: the government’s policy on strengthening the role of public benefit associations and institutions in the country, the government’s policy on strengthening the quality of the lives of people of determination and integrating them into education and work, and the government’s policy in supporting the quality of services provided to senior citizens.

The Council also reviews a message from His Excellency Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al -Owais regarding the approval of the Council of Ministers to discuss the issue of government policy regarding the organization of the statistical sector and open data and enhance the state’s competitiveness, in order to refer to the Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee.

In the item of the reports received from the committees, the Council discusses the report of the Social Affairs, Labor, Population and Human Resources Committee, which includes the council’s recommendations for the issue of government policy regarding the raising of the efficiency of workers in the government sector that was discussed in the seventh session held on February 5, 2025.
