China’s exports increased by 12.4% during March and imports decrease

The Chinese government announced today, the country’s increase in 12.4% during the previous year, as companies rushed to overcome the increase in customs tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump.

Imports decreased by 4.3%, according to the Chinese Customs Administration.

She said that exports from the second largest economy in the world increased by 5.8 % in the first three months of the year compared to the previous year, while imports decreased by 7 %.

It is noteworthy that the trade balance surplus of China with the United States amounted to 27.6 billion dollars last March, with exports to 4.5 %.
