Fujairah Police launches the Gulf Traffic Week for 2025

Fujairah on April 15 / WAM / The General Command of Fujairah Police launched the activities of the Gulf Traffic Week 2025 under the slogan “Driving without a phone” within the second quarterly campaign that lasts three months, in line with the operational plan of the Ministry of Interior and the Traffic Sector, and the initiative to consolidate the principles of traffic culture through traffic awareness programs.
The campaign seeks to spread and promote awareness and traffic culture among drivers, road users and community segments, by introducing traffic laws and laws that contribute to reducing the dangerous behaviors committed by the vehicle driver.
The campaign also aims to develop positive behavior among vehicle drivers, to take prevention measures while they are forced to use the phone while driving, such as stopping outside the road to make the necessary calls or use the headphones and the phone holder.
The campaign includes awareness programs on social media and lectures that focus on avoiding preoccupation with the road; To reduce accidents, the importance of adhering to traffic, traffic and attention laws, and the violations that result in violation of preoccupation with a road using a mobile phone by hand while driving or in any way.
