Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured her accompanied by His Excellency Shamma Bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Empowerment, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed University, His Excellency Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State, His Excellency Issa Kazem, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Center, and His Excellency Hala Badri, Director General of “Dubai Culture”, in “Art Dubai”, which includes four main sections: “The Contemporary” and “Hadith” And “Gate” and “Art Dubai Digital”, during which they were seen on what this year’s version included a rich and comprehensive program, and praised its Highness the diversity of works that reflected distinctive creative visions, and met a number of local and international artists, who expressed their happiness to participate in the exhibition, and optimistic about the future of art in Dubai, which employ all its efforts to upgrade the cultural industries sector Creative, and strengthening its position as a global center for the creative economy.
Her Highness also visited the “Joint Land” exhibition, which was launched by “Dubai Coldings” in cooperation with the University of Zayed, and it was organized by female students from the university: Shamsa Al -Qubaisi, Maryam Al -Zaabi, and Sarah Al -Sulaimani under the technical supervision of Dr. Nada Shabout and Magali Ariola. The exhibition presents selected works from “Dubai Coldings”, which was produced between 1949 and 2024, and reflects the message of “Dubai Coldings” that focuses on the importance of research, education and community participation, and confirms its commitment to empowering young people and consolidating cultural values for future generations.
On the sidelines of the visit, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Excellency Shama Bint Suhail Al Mazrouei witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai and Zayed University, aiming to enhance cultural cooperation between the two parties, which enables female students to acquire comprehensive practical experiences in the fields of research and technical practices in organizing exhibitions and creative development, which is what Dubai for Culture provides through its comprehensive system And its various initiatives, such as “Dubai Coldings”.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Hala Badri, Director General of “Dubai Culture”, and Professor Michael Allen, Acting Vice President of Zayed University.
