1500 swimmers and swimming will participate tomorrow in "Dubai International Water Games"

Dubai, April 17/ WAM/ The swimming competitions will start tomorrow within the Dubai International Water Games Championship, which is currently held in Dubai, and was approved by the International Water Games Federation as a qualified station to the World Championship that will be held in Singapore during the period from July 11 to August 3.
1500 swimming and swimming from 90 clubs and academies from 40 countries, including a group of Olympic stars, will participate in the competitions.
The swimming competitions are held over 3 days, in various categories: free, back, chest, and butterfly, and participants are distributed in the junior, open, and master categories, from the ages of 9 to 60 years, and with a variety of distances ranging from 50 and 1500 meters.
The swimming competitions are part of the Dubai International Water Games program that extends from March 25 to April 28, and includes 5 water sports: diving, water ball, swimming in open water, rhythmic swimming, and competitive swimming, with more than 2,200 sports and sports from different continents of the world.
Abdullah Shahdad, Director of the Hamdan Sports Complex, Vice -Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Championship, confirmed the readiness of the complex to host the global event, pointing to the great turnout that the championship witnessed since the opening of registration in January, which reflects its growing position in the agenda of international championships and the desire of the most prominent swimmers to compete.
