“Heba in its place” confirms the importance of cooperation between government and private agencies
The “Heba in its place”, organized by the “Dubai Holding Group”, succeeded for the second year in a row in cooperation with the Community Development Authority in Dubai and the company “DHL Global Forewaring” in reaching more than 16 thousand beneficiaries during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative achieved a significant increase in the number of new goods and products that were collected and converted into gifts, which confirms the importance of cooperation between the government and private sector in offering innovative qualitative initiatives to achieve sustainable societal development goals.
These gifts, which have reached more than 315 thousand products, have a financial value of 14 million dirhams, include personal clothing, accessories, accessories, home appliances and games, distributed within 22 activities held in 11 different locations in Dubai that included displaying products and goods similar to the market In a decent way.
The “Heba in its place” combines the spirit of giving and the “Dubai Holding” strategy for sustainability. This initiative aims to strengthen the practices responsible in line with goal (12) of the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations, by converting new products and goods at the level of “Dubai Holding” companies and its shareholders’ partners to gifts that benefit the needy. Dubai Holding and its partners have succeeded in redirecting more than 85 tons of supplies away from landfills and parks.
Today’s “Heba” initiative is one of the most prominent initiatives being implemented within the framework of the “Dubai Holding” charitable strategy, knowing that it supports the targets of the United Arab Emirates to coincide with its announcement in 2025 “The Year of Society.”

The “Heba in its place” initiative has contributed to enhancing the culture of volunteering and giving and returning the beautiful to society at the workplace, as more than 1,500 employees of the “Dubai Holding” companies and its shareholders’ partners have taken the initiative to volunteer to regulate the vital markets designated for the distribution of donations. Other volunteer groups, such as the “Emirates Pulse” and the “Akaf” association, were also keen to volunteer to support the “Heba in its place” during the holy month of Ramadan this year.
Volunteers also participated in training workshops organized in partnership with Infait Tech for educational services, to enhance the practices of the circular economy and support goal No. (12) of the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations.
