The President of the State discusses with the President of Chad to strengthen bilateral relations

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Field Marshal Mohamed Idris Deby Ento, President of the Republic of Chad, discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in addition to a number of regional and international issues in common concern.
This came during the reception of His Highness the President of the State today at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, Field Marshal Mohamed Idris Deby Inno, who is on an official visit to the UAE, where His Highness welcomed the guest president and the accompanying delegation, noting the development witnessed by Emirati -Chadian relations, especially in the development fields.
During the talks, the two sides emphasized the keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation between the Emirates and Chad and invest the opportunities available in this regard, especially in the fields of trade, economy, investment, energy, infrastructure, etc., in a way that serves the joint development of the two countries and returns with goodness and growth over their people.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Field Marshal Mohammed Idris Deby Into also exchanged views on developments in the region, stressing, in this context, the importance of working to promote regional peace and stability in a way that enhances the development and prosperity of the countries of the region and its peoples.
For his part, the Chadian President expressed his thanks to His Highness the President of the State for the good reception and the generous hospitality, and his appreciation of the UAE joint ’work.
