المملكة: “Prevention” launches a campaign to enhance children’s immunity in schools and care centers

The Public Health Authority “protect” launched a national campaign aimed at strengthening the immunity of children and adolescents against measles, measles, and mumps, by providing an additional dose of the triple viral vaccine for age groups from 6 months to 18 years.
This campaign is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to support national fortification programs, and raise coverage rates with basic vaccines within the routine vaccination schedule for children. The triple viral vaccine is given as a reinforcement dose with the aim of raising the efficiency of the children’s immune system and protecting them from infectious viral diseases.

Children’s vaccination

The authority confirmed that the vaccine is available in all primary health care centers, in addition to providing it in schools to ensure easy access to all the targeted groups.
“Prevention” called on parents to initiate the vaccination of their children by visiting the nearest health center or coordination with schools to ensure prevention and enhance community immunity.
This initiative comes within the framework of achieving the targets of the transformation program in the health sector and Saudi vision 2030, which places the health and safety of the individual at the top of its priorities, by providing high -quality preventive and treatment services and achieving the highest levels of health protection.
It is noteworthy that the triple vaccine is one of the most important vaccinations that are globally adopted in preventing epidemic diseases that affect children, and contributes greatly to reducing infection levels and viruses within society
