Sudan: pledges to provide full human arrival to Al -Fasher and Zamzam camp, amid the worsening of the crisis

This is what was stated by the United Nations spokesman, Stephen Dujarric, during his press conference in New York today, Monday, where he said that Mr. Fletcher spoke in a separately phone with Abdel -Fattah al -Burhan, Commander of the Sudanese Armed Forces, and Abdel Rahim Daklu, Deputy Commander of the Rapid Support Forces.
The United Nations has warned against the reports it received from the region, including “Horrific reports that include killings, sexual violence and mass displacement, as well as the enormous human needs of those there.”
Dujarik said that the humanitarian workers also warned that the situation is getting more complicated due to high levels of food insecurity, which exposes people to an increased risk of malnutrition and famine.
The United Nations Coordinator and the Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan, Clementine Nkota-Salami, issued a statement yesterday warning that the humanitarian community in Sudan is facing critical and increasing operational challenges in North Darfur, driven by forced and widely displaced displacement of civilians from the existing infrastructure and humanitarian services.
Mr. Dujarric said that the United Nations continues to invite all parties to the conflict in Sudan to respect international humanitarian law, and urged donors to provide rapid and flexible financing to maintain the humanitarian response in North Darfur.
