A student from Ras Al Khaimah achieves first place with the Middle East Mathematics Challenge

Ras Al Khaimah on April 23 / WAM / A student in a school of Ras Al Khaimah achieved the first place in the “Middle East Mathematics Challenge 2025” championship, which was held in Dubai, during the period from 18 to 20 April, with the participation of more than 40 thousand students from about 100 schools across the Middle East.

The student, Gina, from the branch of the Ras Al Khaimah Academy in Al -Hamra, won the winner cup in the second and third grades category, after nine students from the academy qualified for the championship finals; Where they competed in three extensive rounds of sports challenges, Kait, Odisi, and Advoucher, during which they tested their skills in mental arithmetic, logical thinking, and the solution to advanced problems.

Graham Bell, Executive Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Academy, said that the qualification of 9 contestants from school students from more than 42 thousand participants is a great achievement and that one of the qualifications obtained the first place in its class is an inspiration, stressing the commitment of the academy to encourage academic excellence, and its keenness to share its students in regional and international competitions.

For her part, Carolina Yankovska, director of the Academy branch in Hamra, said that this success is a reflection of the efforts of students, the support of their families and the teaching staff at the school.
