المملكة: The Mufti receives the report of the “Returning to Scholars when the Fatwa” is different
His Eminence, the Mufti, praised the efforts, initiatives and participation of the branch, listening to an explanation of the initiative presented by the member of the Senior Scholars Authority, Sheikh Sami bin Muhammad al -Saqir.
Al -Muhaini stressed the importance of referring to the scholars to ensure the validity of the understanding and the safety of the application, and from this standpoint, this initiative came to consolidate the principle of verification in the fatwa, and to return to the well -established scholars when the difference occurred, in order to protect religion, to preserve the unity of the nation, and to avoid the wrong sedition and interpretation.
The difference of fatwa
The “importance of referring to scholars at the different fatwa” initiative aims to achieve major goals, the most prominent of which is: consolidating the principle of referring to the established scholars in science to ensure a correct understanding of legal rulings away from unchasted individual jurisprudence, strengthening the unity of the fatwa and reducing the jurisprudence chaos that may arise due to the multiplicity of fatwas that are not based on legal evidence, and spreading awareness of the importance of the reliable fatwa that is based on Correct legal evidence according to the approach of the Sunnis and the community, reduce the impact of hasty or ill -studied fatwas that may lead to excessive strictness or indulgence in religious issues, and achieving intellectual and religious security in society through the correct guidance of individuals.
On the other hand, the Vice President for Executive Affairs, supervising the Office of the Grand Mufti, Sheikh Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al -Awwad, received at his office, Director General of the General Presidency of Scientific Research and Ifta in the eastern region in charge of Abdulaziz bin Muhaini Al -Muhaini, who handed over to His Excellency a copy of the final report of the initiative.
