The start of the first version of “Dawn Town Design Riyadh” next May

The organizing committee of the “Down Town Design Riyadh” exhibition, the first Saudi exhibition specializing in contemporary and high -quality design, announced the details of its opening versions, scheduled for its establishment in the Jax neighborhood in Riyadh during the period from 20 to 23 May, in partnership with the Architecture and Design Authority of the Ministry of Culture.

The exhibition is a new station in the scene of the prosperous creative design in the Kingdom, as it combines under the roof of one elite of international brands, regional design studios, and emerging Saudi talents, providing a leading platform for displaying modern designs and craftsmanship.

The exhibition includes a list of prominent exhibitors, including “Lighting of Trade”, which represents global signs in the field of architectural lighting such as “Artkolo”, “Tom Dickson”, and “Buri”, which displays Scandinavian furniture from “Udo Copenhagen” and “&” The “Scarlett Sibingor” brand also recorded its first regional appearance with unique artwork.

An integrated program for visitors

As for the “Coliccunal” exhibition, it offers limited pieces of international names such as Christophe Delkore and Apratos Studio, while the “ICO” exhibition highlights Indian craftsmanship in its first appearance in the Middle East.

The exhibition offers a dynamic program of events that include dialogue sessions, artistic installations, temporary stores, and innovative cooking experiences. Among the most prominent projects presented is the external work of “Strata” carried out by the “Karim+Elias” studio using the Saudi sand.

Dr. Sumaya Al -Suleiman, CEO of the Architecture and Design Arts Authority, said: “The design sector in the Kingdom is witnessing an accelerated growth, and through this exhibition, we aspire to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a leading destination for design globally, by integrating local and international experiences in one event that reflects Saudi cultural and creative identity.”

The exhibition opens its doors to visitors from May 21 to May 23, while on May 20 it was devoted to the top characters.
