Nahyan bin Mubarak adopts the program of the pavilion "Homeland" in"Abu Dhabi Book"

Abu Dhabi, April 24/ WAM/ His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al -Watan Fund, approved a plan and program of the work of the Al -Watan Fund Pavilion participating in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025, under the slogan “Permanent and Sustainable National Identity”.
His Excellency stressed that the strengthening of the national identity has become an essential pillar in the work of the fund, and is fully consistent with the comprehensive development process for the UAE, and an integral part of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, to build a future based on belonging and pride in the authentic Emirati values, in the shadow of “the year of society”.
He expressed his pride in the innovative initiatives included in the Al -Watan Fund program during the exhibition, which varies between cultural and cognitive events and workshops directed to young people, youth and creators, in addition to open dialogue platforms that review inspiring Emirati experiences that contribute to the consolidation of the concept of positive citizenship and loyalty to the homeland, pointing out that the Fund’s wing will honor creators from school students in the field of technology And artificial intelligence.
His Excellency said that the participation of the “Al -Watan Fund” at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair represents a true translation of the vision of our wise leadership, which believes in the importance of culture and knowledge in building man and society, explaining that the goal of participation is to deepen awareness of the Emirati identity in the conscience of every citizen and resident, and to enhance its elements related to heritage, language, societal values, belonging to the homeland and loyalty to its leadership and enhance the spirit of the union.
He added that the purpose of the Fund’s work is to transform the national identity into a daily practice and a civilized behavior for everyone, and this is embodied in pride in the homeland and respecting its symbols and the positive contribution to the elevation of its affairs, and perhaps the participation of the fund in the exhibition achieves this purpose, stressing that the sustainable national identity can only be achieved through societal, cognitive, educational and awareness programs in which all state institutions participate, and we seek to form the fund as a model Inspiring in this field.
He said that the Emirati culture is an integral part of our identity, and that participating in the exhibition is an opportunity to teach our children that pride in identity does not contradict the acceptance of the other, but rather enhances our ability to interact with the world with a positive and responsible spirit.
His Excellency directed that the wing of the homeland fund in the exhibition be a platform for everyone and expresses a national project that enhances dialogue between generations and renews the relationship with heritage, stressing that “we live in an exceptional state, led by an inspiring and coherent society, and all that we are doing today, but it is a brick in building a future that we cherish, and our national identity will remain the beacon that we are guided towards leadership and excellence.”
The plan and program of the Al -Watan Fund Pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair includes a series of qualitative initiatives that focus on achieving the fund’s slogan “permanent and sustainable national identity”, the most prominent of which is the organization of dialogue sessions offered by Emirati writers who cooperated with the fund, and reviews books that dealt with the axes of identity, leadership and national history, in addition to a program dedicated to children and adolescents to introduce them to the concept of identity through video stories and means Various educational.
The pavilion also includes a discussion platform that brings together Emirati, Arab and international thinkers and writers, to discuss ways to enhance identity in the time of globalization and technological development, where the pavilion includes the 2025 Emirates Vision Cup awards ceremony to honor the creators from the sons and daughters of the Emirates in the field of artificial intelligence.
The pavilion also organizes 22 workshops that vary between heritage, culture and arts, where the participants will explore the values of Sheikh Zayed in a creative way, such as unity, tolerance and sustainability, by integrating history, symbols and personal stories in tangible multimedia work that reflects the spirit of the homeland.
The UAE’s heritage is also inspired by the participation of craftsmen, as the participants will explore the beauty of creativity and engraving, with the re -imagination of traditional technologies such as Sadu and palm trees with fun and innovative contemporary styles, as well as activities that deal with the UAE’s journey to space and the future Engineering, architectural symmetry, and the aesthetics of elaborate Arabic calligraphy.
