The Sultan of Oman receives the ruler of Sharjah at the Al -Alam Palace
Muscat, April 24/ WAM/ His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan Oman, received the sister, Thursday morning at the Al -Alam Palace in the Omani capital, Muscat, his brother, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, at the beginning of the meeting, welcomed His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and his accompanying delegation, stressing the depth of the rooted relations that link the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman and their two brotherly peoples.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to his brother His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Sultan Oman, and his wishes for the Sultanate and the brotherly Omani people more progress and prosperity.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq praised the efforts of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in various cultural fields, and the initiatives of His Highness that contribute to preserving the cultural heritage and Arab identity and documenting its history, valuing his majesty the new historical achievement of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah “The Portuguese in the Sea of Oman, events in the years of 1497 AD to 1757 AD” which is a qualitative addition and a valuable enrichment to the Arab Library And global.
For his part, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah thanked His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq for the generosity of hospitality and warm welcome, praising the renaissance witnessed by the sisterly Sultanate of Oman under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.
The meeting was attended by the accompanying delegation of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, which includes: Sheikha Badour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Book Authority, His Excellency Muhammad Bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, the State Ambassador to the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Owais, Head of the Culture Department, Ahmed bin Rakad Al -Amri, CEO of the Sharjah Book Authority, and Muhammad Obaid Al -Zaabi, head of the Honorable and Hospitality Department, Sharjah Radio and Television.
It was also attended by the Omani side: His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Hilal Al -Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of the Royal Court, and His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Saeed Al -Awfi, head of the Special Office of His Majesty Sultan Oman.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, left the Omani capital, Muscat, where he was farewell to His Highness His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of the Royal Court, and His Excellency Muhammad bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the State to the sisterly Sultanate of Oman.
