المملكة: The school empowering the focus of transformation in educational governance

The Assistant Minister of Education, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the Transformation Project, Eng. Mohammed bin Nasser Al -Ghamdi, stressed that the project of transformation in the governance system of administrations and education offices aims to enable the school with broader powers, as it is the main axis of the educational process, stressing that the project is not limited to administrative change but seeks to improve performance and achieve actual empowerment in the field.
This came during the opening of the workshop hosted by the General Administration of Education in Jeddah, under the title “Applied Practices for the Transformation Project”, with the participation of nine educational departments from various regions, and under the supervision of the executive team from the Ministry of Education.
In his speech, Al -Ghamdi pointed out the importance of simplifying the organizational levels and activating the leadership role of the school, citing the experience of Madinah’s education as a successful application model, calling for the activation of the platform “Unified Support” as a strategic tool for evaluation and communication.

Raise the efficiency of performance

The Secretary of Education Department, a member of the supervisory committee, Hamad bin Nasser Al -Wahibi, explained that the project represents a turning point in redesign educational roles and raising the efficiency of institutional performance, stressing the importance of exchanging successful experiences and continuing improvement.
The Director General of Education in Jeddah, Manal Al -Lahibi, welcomed the participants, considering the workshop a national platform to integrate efforts towards modern educational governance, praising the inspiring experiences that reshape the concepts of school leadership.

The workshop included a comprehensive presentation presented by the director of the transformation project in the Ministry, Abdulaziz bin Garman Al -Shehri, in which he reviewed the project’s targets and his time plan, while the Director of City Education, Nasser Al -Abdulkarim, participated in a field experience that highlighted the influential factors and stages of implementation.
The workshop witnessed visual presentations, an educational opera presented by Jeddah education students, and specialized sessions that discussed the executive paths, resources, organization and communication, to review the necessary recommendations to ensure the project continues to achieve its goals towards an enabled school, and high learning outcomes.
