المملكة: Targeting a million visitors .. “Islamic affairs” opens the fifth “bridges” exhibition in Indonesia

It targets more than a million visitors from various segments of Indonesian society, and lasts for ten days in the Astallal Mosque Square in the capital, Jakarta, which is the largest mosque in East Asia.
The ministry organizes this exhibition in coordination with the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Administration of Independence Mosque, and the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, has been organized at the opening of the exhibition, the Honorable Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al -Anzi, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Religious Religious Affairs Professor Nasruddin Omar, and the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Jakarta, Professor Faisal Among the Excellencies are ministers, regional rulers, heads of universities, associations and religious institutions in the Republic of Indonesia, and the ambassadors of the Arab and Islamic countries accredited to Jakarta.
The Kingdom’s efforts to serve Islam
The “Bridge” exhibition, which comes with the support and direct follow -up of His Excellency Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al -Sheikh, aims to highlight the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving Islam and Muslims, caring for the Book of God Almighty and the guests of the Most Merciful, and reviewing the civilizational message that the Kingdom provides in supporting humanitarian issues and enhancing the values of coexistence and peace.
During the exhibition days, the ministry guides more than 150 thousand copies of the Noble Qur’an, as part of its efforts to publish the Holy Book of God and empower Muslims around the world to recite and understand its meanings.
The corners of the exhibition
The exhibition highlights the achievements achieved by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, and reviews the stages of the development of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an, especially in the field of diversifying the publications of the Qur’an and translating them into international languages, in addition to the latest advanced technologies used in printing the Noble Qur’an.
The exhibition also includes interactive activities and modern technical means that reflect Saudi identity and culture, and provides visitors with an inspiring knowledge experience that keeps pace with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, which seeks to enable the Kingdom’s civilizational and cultural presence in international forums.
The Honorable Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al -Anzi, stressed during the opening ceremony that the “bridges” exhibition aims to highlight the true image of the moderate Islam that the Kingdom calls for, and to consolidate the concepts of moderation, tolerance and coexistence between peoples, as it reflects the pioneering role that the Kingdom plays in serving Islam and Muslims around the world.
The Ministry’s efforts to serve the Book of God
His eminence also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh for his patronage of these qualitative exhibitions that embody the Kingdom’s message and highlight its blessed efforts in caring for the Two Holy Mosques, serving the Book of God Almighty, and embracing it for the largest complex to print the Noble Qur’an in the Islamic world.
He also thanked the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Professor Nasruddin Omar, for the constructive cooperation and great support for the success of the exhibition’s activities, which reflects the depth of brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Indonesia.
In a press statement to His Excellency the Minister of Indonesian Religious Affairs Professor Nasruddin Omar about the importance of the exhibition in promoting cultural relations between the two brotherly countries, he stressed that the exhibition with its exhibits translates the size of the development that the Kingdom is witnessing in various cultural, social and economic fields, as it reflects the great efforts to serve Islam and Muslims in the world and care for God Almighty and translate its meanings.
Professor Nasruddin Omar thanked and appreciated the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its efforts in the service of Islam and Muslims and caring for the Two Holy Mosques.
The “bridges” exhibition is one of the most prominent cultural initiatives implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, in coordination with its counterparts in the countries of the world, and embodies the Kingdom’s keenness to extend bridges of cultural and human communication with Islamic and non -Islamic peoples, in a way that enhances the spread of tolerant Islamic values, highlights its pioneering efforts in the service of Islam and Muslims, and consolidating the concepts of tolerance, moderation and peaceful coexistence.
