The Department of Municipalities and Transport is completed

Abu Dhabi, April 25 / WAM / The Department of Municipalities and Transportation announced the success of the completion of one of its most important projects to improve the quality of life in the farmer region, and the project is one of the largest initiatives to develop society in Abu Dhabi, where it was designed to achieve the luxury of the population by providing a wide range of facilities and services that aim to turn the region into a model for the ideal urban environment that meets the needs of everyone.

The first completed phase of the project includes approximately 200 new entertainment facilities in the farmer area, including 37 new parks, 43 children’s play areas, and more than 30 sports stadium

The implementation of 30 kilometers of pedestrian paths in Al -Falah area, which was pre -developed to enhance the possibility of moving the population.

Other facilities include 11 fitness regions, 11 community parks, three areas for seasonal markets, three spaces for technical exhibitions, and about 200 car parks, in addition to the spaces designated for women and the elderly to ensure the provision of entertainment places that meet the invasions of all population segments.

The second stage, scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025, includes the development and construction of a variety of new facilities, including 5 mosques, 3 new playing areas, 5 additional sports fields, an additional fitness area, a fourth skateboard, in addition to about 20 kilometers of bicycle paths, and 20 kilometers of pedestrian paths.

The stage will also ensure the establishment of a large celebration yard, 5 general artistic landmarks, one water teacher and a region for holding events.

As part of this stage, the Al -Falah region will witness the addition of 20 kilometers of bicycle paths and 20 kilometers of pedestrian paths, which enhances the ability to move and walk while the work is currently being done to update the irrigation network throughout the farmer, to ensure the sustainability of green spaces and landscapes where these improvements will increase the chances of entertainment and establish events that allow the participation of everyone from different parts The area.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport cooperates with the Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi, within the framework of this project to enhance the spirit of participation between members of society and celebrate local creativity, through the use of technical paintings for students as majesties or facades of service buildings in various parts of the farmer region, as part of the “Abu Dhabi Panel” initiative launched by the Municipalities and Transport Department, and highlights the creative talents of local young artists, and reflects the department’s commitment to use art To show the aesthetic of the emirate.

This project embodies the commitment of the Municipalities and Transport Department to build dynamic neighborhoods that support the various needs of the population, enhance the feeling of interdependence, and improve the quality of life in general, as the department seeks through the studied planning to create comprehensive and integrated spaces that encourage social interaction and provide recreational activities and advance the standard of living for members of society.
