Social responsibility

The report indicated the high percentage of major companies that provide social responsibility programs to 71.67%, bypassing the target of the year, in addition to the contribution of the non -profit sector to the gross domestic product by 1%, targeting reaching 5%in 2030, and the percentage of workers in it increased to 64%.
The axes of the report have identified exceptional achievements in achieving the targets, as it shows the rating of the “accelerated growth economy” the Kingdom’s progress to 16th in the global competitiveness index, and has retained its issuance at the level of the Middle East and North Africa in bold investment by 40%.

Exceptional achievements

In 2024, the generation of investment opportunities in the 2024, achieving more than 1,800 investment opportunities. Saudi students

The qualitative achievements also continue at the international level, as Saudi students won 114 medals and a major prize in the two largest international competitions in the fields of science, engineering and invention, namely “Iceve 2024” and “Aitx 2024”.
As an extension of the efforts to enable national competencies, more than 437 thousand citizens and citizens enabled joining the labor market in the private sector during the year 2024, through the programs and initiatives of the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf), and the number of Saudis working in the private sector until the end of 2024 reached about 2.4 million citizens and citizens.

Enhancing the role of women

In the context of strengthening the role of women in leadership sites, the percentage of Saudi women in moderate and higher administrative positions reached 43.8%, and their participation in the labor market increased to 36% by the end of 2024, compared to 17% in 2017.
In the field of traffic safety, traffic accident deaths per 100,000 people decreased from 17.6 in 2018 to 12.3 in 2024, and the confidence index in security services in the Kingdom also recorded a high level of 99.85%.

Digital leadership

The Kingdom has achieved internationally advanced centers in digital leadership, as the first came in the number of Internet users, and the second globally in the digital transformation index, as well as the second place globally in the technology development and application index.

According to the classification of “a pioneering vital destination”, the Kingdom advanced to the 16th globally in the social responsibility index issued by “IMD”, and the G20 countries topped the safety index, and won the hosting of the largest version of the 2034 FIFA World Cup; To be the first country in history to host this event alone (with its new system), and the Kingdom created the World Cup for Electronic Sports and hosted its first version.
In continuation of the Kingdom’s success in the competitiveness of Saudi cities at the international level, Medina was included among the 100 best tourist destinations for the year 2024, and Al -Ula received the first destination in the Middle East accredited to the International Organization for Tourism Equipment “Destinichns International”.

Tourist revenue

The Kingdom expanded by granting the visa of the Kingdom’s visit electronically to 66 countries, and the achievement rate in the Qidiya projects reached 81% in the “Aquaria” park, and 87% in the “Six Flags” park, and international tourism revenues increased compared to 2019 to 148%, and the number of visitors to the entertainment events reached 76.9 million, and the Kingdom topped the G20 countries in the growth of the number of international tourists.
There were also 16 cultural elements in the representative list of UNESCO International Cultural Heritage, and the first specialized college of arts at King Saud University was launched, and the “flags” model was included in the “Watsonx” platform in “IBM” as one of the best models of obstetric intelligence in Arabic in support of Arab content in international organizations.

The contribution of the agricultural sector

According to the report of the report for a “sustainable vision”, more than 115 million trees were planted at the end of 2024, the contribution of the agricultural sector to GDP reached 114 billion riyals, and more than 118,000 hectares of deteriorating lands were rehabilitated, and more than 7800 extinct animals were resettled.
