On behalf of the President of the State, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi attends the funeral ceremony of Pope Francis in the Italian capital, Rome

On behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi attended the funeral ceremony of His Holiness Pope Francis.
The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary -General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Head of the Crown Prince Office in the Court.
The funeral ceremony of Pope Francis was launched from St. Peter’s Cathedral Square, to see his body in the Santa Maria Magiuri Church in the Italian capital, Rome, in the presence of a number of presidents, leaders and leaders of the world.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed the condolences of His Highness the President of the State to the Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Camelingo, the Holy Roman Church, and to His Eminence the Cardinal Giovanni Batista Rey, Dean of the Cardinate Complex in the Vatican metropolitan, expressing His Highness his sincere condolences to the Cardinal Complex, the Holy See, and the International Catholic Society in the death of Pope Francis.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the late Pope Francis was a symbol of human brotherhood, civilized coexistence and the approximation of peoples of various religions, indicating that his human heritage will remain a source of inspiration for generations in promoting the values of tolerance and dialogue.
The sanctity of Pope Francis had a busy record of achievements in promoting civilized and human dialogue between various cultures and religions, as his historical visit to the UAE, the first of its kind to the region, culminated in the announcement of the “Document of Human Brothers” that he signed with the Honorable Imam Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar in the capital, Abu Dhabi, on the fourth of February 2019 as a global charter for peace and human coexistence, which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly For human brotherhood.
