Emirates experts provide 8 solutions to national challenges during the World Behavioral Science Conference 2025

Abu Dhabi, May 1 / WAM / Eight experts from the Emirates Experts Program “Fourth Batch” presented eight innovative solutions to urgent national challenges linked to the education, health care, sustainability sectors, cultural identity and food security, within the activities of the World behavioral science conference 2025, which is held for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region in the capital Abu Dhabi, and is organized at New York University Abu Dhabi during the period from April 30th To May 1, 2025.

These solutions reflect the UAE’s strategic vision of the future by focusing on innovation and social impact, as these innovative solutions were developed by relying on behavioral science methodologies after it underwent multiple field practical tests.
In this regard, His Excellency Ahmed Talib Al -Shamsi, Director of the Emirates Experts Program, stressed the active role of Emirates experts in addressing contemporary challenges and setting appropriate solutions, especially in the areas of national priority, pointing to the importance of harnessing the methodology of behavioral sciences based on scientific evidence, studies and experimental research to formulate the appropriate policies for various important topics in society.
On the eight solutions provided by the experts of the Emirates; The expert Kholoud Al -Awadi presented a project that focuses on empowering students, by addressing their individual educational needs, and based on innovative proposals that take into account the gender and enhance participation and support academic success and active civil participation, as expert Dr. Mohamed Al -Amiri proposed to employ behavioral interventions aimed at reducing the spread of rare genetic diseases by improving pre -marriage examination practices and raising levels of societal awareness.
The expert, Mohamed Al -Janahi, presented a behavioral consumer strategy aimed at promoting the purchase of products made in the Emirates through specific means such as employing a special system for classifying shelves, spreading digital alerts and launching loyalty incentives initiatives inside stores, while expert Maryam Al Falasi presented a solution in the field of food security represented in the application of a national dietary donation system based on virtual alerts and behavioral incentives to reduce losses and waste Food.
In the field of youth and digital participation; Expert Faisal Al -Hawi presented a school and home program aimed at reducing the negative screen time of children between the ages of 6 and 10 years, while expert Sumaya Al -Hajri will launch a national campaign for digital awareness under the title “digital heroes”, to encourage the responsible and positive use of social media among young people in the UAE.
And in the axis of identity and culture; The expert Rawda Al -Qubaisi proposed to integrate an Emirati cultural experience approved within the visa paths and employment programs to improve the integration of residents and enhance cultural communication in the long term. The expert, Mohamed Al -Wahidi, provided an initiative to support modest wedding parties under the name “Medem” using virtual options, social messages and community incentives.
