Guardiola excludes Halland’s participation in the face of Wolverhampton

Norwegian Erling Halland, Manchester City striker, is unlikely to return to his team this week, despite his return to the full training basin with his team.

The British Press Agency (BA Media) reported that the Norwegian striker had missed the team since he suffered an ankle injury during the match that the team beat Bournemouth in the quarter -finals of the FA Cup last March.

This came to spread news about his return to participate with the team against Wolverhampton in the English Premier League tomorrow, but Spanish Josep Guardiola, the coach of the team, reduced those hopes.

Asked about the return of the 24 -year -old attacker, Guardiola said at a press conference: “He is improving, but I do not think so.”

The news of Halland’s return came to the fans, after Spaniard Rodri, midfielder and winner of the Balloon Award, intensified his training in preparation for a return to the team.

Manchester City has lost Rodry’s services severely since he suffered a strong knee injury in the Arsenal match at the “Etihad” stadium last September.
