Officials: “Dihad 2025” is a global platform that enhances the leadership of the Emirates in humanitarian work

Dubai, May 1 / WAM / The Dubai International Exhibition on Relief and Development “Dihad 2025”, held under the generous sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, continues to confirm his position as the largest humanitarian and development platform of its kind in the world, drawing more than 18 thousand visitors from 160 countries, and with the wide participation of international institutions and organizations.

In a statement to the Emirates News Agency, Khaled Habib Al -Attar, Director General of the Dihad Organization for Sustainable Humanitarian Action, confirmed that the slogan of the current session “Development and Humanitarian Aid” embodies the firm commitment to the UAE to support global peace and stability, pointing to the discussion of more than 205 vital topics in the areas of relief and development work.

Al -Attar revealed a new initiative to localize the charitable sector, which includes the employment and training of more than 40 citizens in cooperation with “Enfield” and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Dubai, within a program that extends for a full year.

For its part, Hammoud Abdullah Al -Junaibi, Deputy Secretary -General of the Local Affairs Sector at the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, stressed that “Dihad” represents a pivotal platform for exchanging experiences and enhancing humanitarian partnerships, praising the authority’s role in the rapid response to international crises, thanks to the support of the rational leadership.

Muhammad Musabeh Dahi, Executive Director of the Charitable Action Sector in the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Action in Dubai, explained that the department is reviewing in “Dihad” an advanced system for smart donations, through which annual donations are managed by a value of 2 billion dirhams, and directed towards qualitative initiatives such as “Aid”, “Betty”, “Bed of Goodness”, and “Aoun Aoun,” to enhance the Emirates site As a global center for digital and sustainable charitable work
