Ajman Chamber is looking to enhance economic and trade cooperation with Guatemala
Ajman, May 2/ WAM/ His Excellency Eng. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al -Mawji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with His Excellency Jorge Rafael Archilla Ruiz, Ambassador of the Guatemala Republic to the state, discussed ways of economic cooperation and expanding the volume of trade exchange between the two sides.
His Excellency Abdullah Al -Mijiei stressed, during the meeting held yesterday at the headquarters of the Ajman Chamber, the Ajman Emirate’s keenness to enhance its cooperation with the Guatemali side, especially in the sectors of agriculture, industry and tourism, noting the importance of exploring promising investment opportunities in both the emirate and Guatemala and building fruitful economic partnerships.
The meeting witnessed a review of the benefits of the business environment in Ajman, including the free zone, logistical services, and advanced infrastructure, as well as government efforts to provide smart services that contribute to attracting investments.
His Excellency invited the business community in Guatemala to visit the emirate and see the opportunities for cooperation, stressing the importance of holding joint forums between business owners to enhance economic communication.
For his part, His Excellency Jorge Rafael Archilla Ruiz reviewed the most prominent investment sectors in his country, praising the level of bilateral relations, calling on the business community in Ajman to discuss ways of cooperation and build strategic partnerships.
The two sides agreed to organize an official visit to a delegation from Guatemala investors to the Emirate of Ajman during the coming period, and to exchange economic data and information with the aim of paving the way towards effective investment cooperation.
