" Abu Dhabi Book Fair" The launch of an initiative is witnessing "The publisher author"

Abu Dhabi, May 2 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, during the 34th session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, launched a qualitative initiative entitled “The Publisher Author”, as part of its vision aimed at strengthening the societal role of culture, coinciding with the “Year of Society”.

The initiative aims to enable creative Emirati families and highlight their joint literary achievement.

His Excellency Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Center, Director of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, stressed that the author of the publisher author starts from the vision of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center aimed at empowering the Emirati publisher, not only as a product of knowledge, but also a cultural and social actor that carries the state’s message and identity to the world.

He said: “We were keen in this session to translate the slogan” The Year of Society “through practical initiatives that activate the values ​​upon which the structure of Emirati society is based, especially family cohesion, participatory work, and empowering man through knowledge.”

He added that the family is the first nucleus of the knowledge community and the most important source of culture, and therefore we wanted to highlight the creative models that originated from within the family, and that we present a professional platform that shows it to the world within an international event of the size of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

He explained that this initiative confirms that the center is a real partner in developing the work of publishers, and opening new horizons for them to expand the publishing market through institutional support, cognitive empowerment, and linking them to international platforms, and that every Emirati family is a candidate to become a creative family, producing and inheriting knowledge to children, and turns from a recipient of culture to its maker.

The “publisher” wing witnessed prominent posts for Emirati families that presented distinguished models in joint authorship and publishing, as the participants expressed their gratitude for this opportunity that brought together family members in a vibrant cultural and humanitarian experience in cooperation and creativity.

Among these models, the writer, novelist and journalist Ali Abu Al -Rish participated with his son, the young writer Hazaa Abu Al -Rish, as they presented various works that included more than 45 books, in addition to launching two new books for the mockery of one of them a popular office entitled “Benuna” and the other is an intellectual book entitled “Philosophy”: Life in Wisdom “along with the presentation of publications of his literary platform” Voices ” Cultural and hosts a group of Arab writers.

The promising writer Issa Khalifa, the 16 -year -old, participated in a number of his literary works that are inspired by reality and presented with a senior narrative vision, with the support of his mother, Dr. Adaba Al Mazrouei, who shared the experience from her site, encouraging and sponsoring his talent.

Al -Layli expressed his happiness to participate for the fourth time in the exhibition, praising the great facilities provided by his administration for the juniors.

For her part, the writer Fatima Al -Suwaidi, who specializes in child literature, presented a group of her heritage and educational books, the most prominent of which is the series “Professions of Grandpndivary”, in addition to 23 stories that promote the Emirati environment and culture and shared by her daughter Noura Al -Suwaidi, a university student, with a collection of storytelling in the English language that defines children in the history of the UAE, including the story of the “time machine” that narrates the history of the state in an attractive literary style.
