"Cultural wing" .. a prominent station in the spaces of knowledge and technology in"Abu Dhabi Book"

Abu Dhabi, May 3/ WAM/ The cultural wing is a prominent station in the spaces of the 34th session, from the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, as it presents an integrated vision that reflects the projects and achievements of the culture sector, in the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi.
The pavilion includes a group of various sections, which highlights the efforts of the department in preserving the inappropriate heritage, among them the corner of the House of craftsmen, where the Sadu craft is practiced directly in front of visitors, as one of the cultural elements listed on the list of inappropriate heritage in UNESCO since 2011.
It is also organized by specialized training for teachers, to introduce the 34 registered elements in the UNESCO list, as well as a comprehensive presentation of the registered Emirati elements such as tweeting, falconry, Arabic coffee, council, and righteousness.
The pavilion highlights the department’s interest in developing museums and historical sites, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum and the Zayed National Museum, in addition to its supervision of important heritage sites such as Qasr Al -Hosn, Al -Jahili Castle, and the Al Ain Palace Museum.
The pavilion is presented for the first time in front of the public, five rare manuscripts in the manner of the interactive presentation “Platfarm”, and includes “Explanation of Al -Shafia in the Science of Drainage”, “Summarizing the key in meanings and statement”, “Diwan Ibn Hamza”, and “Mushara” dating back to the twelfth century AH, which allows visitors a unique opportunity to see authentic knowledge treasures of Arab and Islamic heritage.
The pavilion also sheds light on the Abu Dhabi Public Library Network, as comprehensive community centers that provide multiple literary and educational resources, as well as presenting a set of modern circle versions, including the book “The Golden Age of Arab Civilization”, and the book “Liwa”, which reviews the history and attractions of the region.
As for the Abu Dhabi Children’s Library, one of the initiatives of the Cultural Complex, it provides rich interactive programs directed to the age group from early childhood until 14 years.
The library is among the largest in the region, and includes more than 60 thousand books in several languages, and combines loan services with a wide range of reading and technological programs, including artificial intelligence workshops, writing writing, comics, and reading club programs.
The pavilion witnesses daily theatrical performances of selected stories, in addition to creative practical workshops, and events to honor the winners of reading and writing competitions, which makes the cultural wing an integrated experience that mixes originality and renewal, and Abu Dhabi’s vision is embodied in making culture a lifestyle and a lasting creativity.
