The President of the State and the Emir of Qatar are discussing in Abu Dhabi the brotherly relations
Abu Dhabi, May 4 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, with his brother His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Prince of the sisterly State of Qatar, discussed during their meeting today in Abu Dhabi, brotherly relations and ways to enhance cooperation and joint work and develop them in various fields, in order to achieve mutual interests of the two countries and return with good and growth on their two brotherly peoples.
Their Highness also reviewed a number of regional and international issues and developments in common concern, foremost of which is the developments of the situation in the Middle East region, the efforts made on them and exchange views on them.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, President of the Presidency Bureau, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, National Security Adviser, and the team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency Bureau for Development Affairs, Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, His Excellency Ali Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council of National Security, His Excellency Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Head of the Executive Affairs Agency, His Excellency Jassim Bouakaba Al Zaabi, Head of the Finance Department – Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan Al Nahyan, State Ambassador to Qatar, and a number of senior officials.
It was also attended by a number of members of the accompanying delegation of His Highness the Emir of Qatar, which includes His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force, His Excellency Abdullah bin Muhammad Al -Khulaifi, President of the Emiri Diwan, His Excellency Dr. Sultan Salmin Saeed Al Mansoori, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UAE, and a number of senior officials.
His Highness the President of the State held a lunch banquet in honor of his brother, His Highness the Emir of Qatar and the accompanying delegation.
His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani had arrived earlier today in Abu Dhabi, on a fraternal visit to the state, where he was at the forefront of his future, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a number of His Highness the elders and senior officials.
