The ambition of “Kalba’s halls” is greater than third place

The Kalba team ended the Futsal Football League in the third place in the table with 37 points, behind Al -Battah (the champion) and Khorfakkan (Al -Wasif), achieving 14 victories and four draws, while he suffered three losses, and scored 96 goals compared to 48 goals it received.

The Secretary -General of the Kalba Club, Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Al -Darmaki, stressed that the Futsal team deserves to achieve a better achievement than the third place in the current season of the Futsal Ball “compared to the efforts made by the club’s management and the provision of all the requirements for success”, explaining that the ambition was the victory in the league shield, hoping that the team’s results in the next season were better, and Al -Darmaki stressed the club’s family’s pride in the results achieved by the team in the league championship despite the lack of coronation, The efforts of the technical and administrative bodies of the team and the players, and their insistence on providing a good season.

Al -Darmaki told «Emirates Today»: “Our ambition was greater than what we reached, and the team members made great efforts, but the league was difficult, and the team needed a lot of giving since the beginning of the season to avoid playing difficult matches in the (Playoff) stage.”

He continued: «Futsal competitions were not easy for the participating teams, and the matches were strong and difficult for everyone.

He added: «The club’s board of directors is always keen to review the results and performance of all teams and players, so all the things that occurred during the season will be studied to enhance the positives and address the negatives, and I think we have achieved many positive gains that can be built on next season.”

He continued: “We faced challenges during the season that affected the team’s results, among them the injuries that affected some players and stops, and these challenges were dealt with distinctively by the Board of Directors headed by Rashid Al -Kindi.”
