The President of the State receives the Turkish Foreign Minister
Abu Dhabi, May 5/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, received today at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi … Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed to His Highness – during the meeting – the greetings of His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of the Turkish Republic and his wishes for the UAE, more progress and development … His Highness also held his greetings to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wishes for Turkey and its people for good and prosperity.
The meeting dealt with strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in a way that serves their common interests in addition to a number of regional and international issues in common concern, foremost of which are developments in the Middle East region, where the two sides stressed in this context the importance of work to support regional peace for the benefit of all the peoples of the region and in a way that enhances its security and stability.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidential Bureau for Special Affairs and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State and His Excellency Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for National Security, His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al -Murr, Minister of State and a number of officials.
