Gulf Cup competitions discuss developing regulations and evaluating tournaments

Doha, May 6 / WAM / The activities of the Competitions Committee of the Arab Gulf Football Cup, which will be held over two days, started yesterday in Doha, with the participation of representatives of the Gulf federations.
The opening was witnessed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Aziz Al -Muqrin, Chairman of the Committee, and Jassem Sultan Al -Rumaihi, Secretary -General of the Federation, who confirmed that the forum is an important station for developing the organizational regulations of the Gulf championships.
Al -Rumaihi explained that the forum discusses the regulations in force and reviews development proposals that enhance the efficiency of Al -Ittihad competitions, led by the Arab Gulf Cup, praising the old players championship, which achieved remarkable success in its first version, and working to organize a new version worthy of the former Gulf football stars.
For his part, Dr. Al-Muqrin stressed the importance of the forum in reviewing and updating the regulations for the Federation’s championships, including teams, Sunni groups and clubs, and evaluating the Gulf Champions League 2024-2025, and preparing for the next version, as well as reviewing the developments of the competitions committee and its future development plans, expressing its appreciation for the efforts of the Federation in developing the work system.
