المملكة: The Saudi Media Forum discusses the role of women in cultural transformations

The Secretary-General of the Family Affairs Council, Maimouna Al Khalil, stressed that the empowerment of women in the Kingdom is no longer linked only to providing opportunities, but has become based on successes and complementary roles, noting that women are an active element that makes a difference in institutional performance.
Kingdom’s Vision 2030
She stressed that the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 has consolidated the presence of women. A major partner in the labor market and at various levels, stressing that the family represents the basis for empowering all its members, and that preparing leaders begins early in childhood by opening opportunities and choosing the appropriate cognitive content to build future leaders.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Women Leaders Network, Amira Al-Taweel, said that the wife and mother still face challenges in the work environment, at a time when some boards of directors lack female representation, indicating that the network "Female leaders" It was established to discuss the labor market and women’s empowerment, and includes about 200 members with investments exceeding 30 billion riyals.
Women’s Empowerment
She stressed that the network opens its doors to everyone, noting the importance of expanding participation in positions of influence, and expressing her aspiration for women’s presence to become a natural matter without the need for empowering descriptions, reflecting the maturity and development of the institutional experience.
MBC Academy CEO Zainab Abu Al Samh stressed that empowering Women are achieved in partnership with men, explaining that Institutional institutions, such as women’s empowerment committees, represent a step towards awareness, provided that they include decision-makers capable of addressing challenges and alleviating obstacles.
The session concluded by emphasizing that making cultural transformations is based on investing in people, and enhancing integration between institutions, the family, and the media, which establishes leadership models capable of keeping pace with changes, and makes women’s empowerment an established practice within the societal and development system in the Kingdom.
