Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center organizes a series of cultural workshops for school students

Abu Dhabi, May 7 / WAM / The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center organized two cultural workshops in the mosque library, in which 39 students from the schools of the Emirate of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi participated, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, as part of a series of four cultural workshops, organized by the center for school students during April and May 2025.
The cultural workshops organized by the center for school students under the umbrella of the “Albani Youth” program, which is concerned with the youth and youth category, who found the founding father among them the wealth of the homeland and the builders of its renaissance, and the center is keen to organize and host the workshops and educational and interactive events that target different age groups, and enrich their intellectual and cultural access, with the aim of contributing to preparing a promising generation of young people, and providing an interactive environment It contributes to promoting their creative and innovative thinking, in addition to attracting the new young people, so that the library is a cultural incubator for them, as it started all the workshops with an introductory tour of the students about the mosque library, its holdings, departments and the services it provides to its guests.
The cultural workshops organized by the center touched on several cultural and artistic topics such as the importance of reading and its role in forming the linguistic queen, how to instill the passion of reading in children, the methods, methods and criteria that help the reader in choosing the appropriate book, as the workshops dealt with the importance of maps in the past, how to read, use and infer the map, and the types of decorations, lines, their history and uses.
Cultural workshops included tours for students in the “Nour and Peace” museum and the experience of “Zia Interactive – a world of light”, where they viewed the books and holdings included in the museum that express the richness of Islamic civilization and its communication with the various civilizations of the world.
It is noteworthy that the library of the mosque, which was opened in 2010, came to be the window through which researchers and interested people overlook the most wonderful arts and sciences that the arts and sciences were serious, formed bridges through which it contacted with other cultures, through the precious books of books and manuscripts, as a result of the continuous support he enjoys from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President The presidency, especially his generous gesture by gifting approximately 3 thousand books of books and valuable and rare periodicals, written in 14 live languages, is a documentation of the sciences of Islamic civilization and its arts on the one hand, and work to publish and revive them on the other hand. The mosque library devoted a section to its unique collection of the rarest books in the world, about 500 titles, and the book “Description of an Arab Heavenly Ball has a keffiyeh written – which is present in the Burgia Museum in Badova 1790”, the oldest books of this group in the mosque library, which is a book written in Latin, the authors “Simon Asimano” and “Josephi Touldy”, and was printed in 1790, as it maintains The library with a group of precious Arabic manuscripts in the form of film microbiology, which total more than 50 thousand mini miniatures, provides researchers with information in the various fields of Islamic sciences such as self -walking, modern and Islamic arts.
