After the two years isolation .. Tawfiq Abdel Hamid is ready to act with a wheelchair

The name of the Egyptian artist Tawfiq Abdel Hamid returned to the fore again, after his recent statements, in which he revealed the real reasons behind his absence from the artistic scene, stressing that his health conditions forced him to are isolated inside his home for the past two years, and that he is ready to represent a wheelchair.
Abdel Hamid explained, in moving statements, that his condition requires the use of a wheelchair upon departure, which refuses to appear in front of his fans, saying: “I am to go out with a wheelchair, and I do not want to show this picture in front of my dear fans who used to me in another image.”

Bus artistic career

Despite this long departure, the artist who carries a technical march full of high -end works stressed that he does not think about retiring from art, but is waiting for an appropriate opportunity to return through a work that carries real artistic value and is in line with his current health condition.
He emphasized that his appearance with his wheelchair will not constitute any obstacle if the role deserves.

Real art

In his speech, Abdel Hamid presented a deep vision of art and its role, and he said: “I went beyond a stage that I want to be an example for people to know me or for rent, now I work with my mood and pure enjoyment, I have to enjoy the role so that I can reach its result to people.”
He pointed out that real art is not a means of profit or fame, but rather “a message and an internal pleasure that reflects the human conscience.”
The artists called for respecting the audience’s mind and presenting his contact works and adding to their artistic balance, as he did in his immortal works, headed by the series “Hadith Al -Sabah and Al -Masaa”, which he described as a model of sincere work that remains in the memory of the viewers despite the passage of time.

A work befitting its history

The last work of Tawfiq Abdel Hamid was the series “Uterren”, which was shown in 2022, and collected by the star Reham Hajjaj and a group of Egyptian drama stars, before he completely moved away from the scene due to the developments of his health.
Despite the challenges, Abdel Hamid is still clinging to hope, and believing that his return will be possible when the opportunity is available for a work appropriate for his history, and expresses his conviction and artistic taste.
