Abu Dhabi, May 8/ WAM/ The General Assembly of the Asian Federation of Camel Racing, which was held yesterday in Abu Dhabi, thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, was highlighted for their great support for camel sports, and to His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Muhammad Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State of the UAE Camel Racing Federation, on the generosity of hospitality and good reception.

This came during the meeting of the General Assembly, which witnessed the election of His Excellency Abdullah Mubarak Al -Muhairi as Chairman of the Federation (Chairman of the Executive Office) by acclamation, to keep his position for a second consecutive session that extends from May to May 2029, and Prince Sultan bin Saud bin Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud was also elected as the first vice president, Sheikh Saeed Al -Ghafili, a second public public sponsor, and 4 members of the Executive Office are: Ali Muhammad Bakhit Ali bin Muhammad Al -Fadil Al -Marri, Haider Khan Abbas Lahri, and Patardini Chandamani, an actress of women.
The association was held with a complete quorum, attended by 15 members of the hosts of the host Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mongolia, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria and Yemen.
The General Assembly approved the assignment of the President of the AFC Camel Racing to amend the union logo, including two camels, one of which is a costume and the other is a meat.
The holding of the first Asian Camel Championship was approved in Abu Dhabi City, with thanks to the Emirates Camel Federation for its sponsorship of it, and the executive office for its administration Hamad Al -Shamsi was formed, which will choose the members to manage and organize the championship, and its regulations have been approved, and it will be from 3 runs: a human passenger, Zamoul and Al -Qaddan for men, and a human passenger. And folds of Bakkar for women, and a human passenger, and the folds of the two signs of tricks and folds of Bakkar for men.

The AFC General Assembly emphasized the technical preparation of all the teams of the member federations to appear what is appropriate for the camel sport of interest and follow -up in the Asian continent, in the continental games in Bahrain 2025, and thanks was extended to the Bahraini Olympic Committee for its endeavor for camel races in the “Third Asian Games of Youth”, and the members of the association expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the AFC’s relevant efforts The International Camel Federation and the organizing committee of the session.
The General Assembly urged the members participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025), for the good preparation and appearance in a way that reflects the interest received by camel sport on the continent.
After reviewing the Asian Federation of Camel Federation for the Sports Season (2025-2026), the General Assembly decided to thank His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State and President of the UAE Federation for Camel Racing for its unlimited support for the AFC Camel Racing, and for the UAE initiative to bear the expenses of all the activities it hosts.

The Asian Federation of Camel Federation for the Sports Season (2025 – 2026) was approved as follows:
The first Asian Camel Championship Championship in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi, the Asian Open Passions of the Zayed Grand Prize Festival in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi (November 2025), the Asian -Open Hopes within the Festival of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in Al -Babsa (December 2025), and the third general assembly of the Federation and the Third Asian Championship in Abu Dhabi (May 2026).
