“Evaluation and the cost of education” determines the amendment of private school fees in Abu Dhabi

The Department of Education and Knowledge said that the amendment of fees in private schools in Abu Dhabi is subject to several factors, most notably the cost of education for schools and evaluation, explaining that any change in expenses or fees is studied, justified and related to the quality of education.

The department added – in clarifying its face to the students of the students, under the title “Here is what you need to know about the increase in school fees”, “Emirates Today” reviewed a copy of it – that “the evaluation of private schools is according to an inspection framework (upgrading), with the aim of ensuring the provision of high -quality education for students, and this evaluation is one of the factors that determine the possibility of amending tuition fees.”

She said: «The evaluation focuses on several main aspects, including academic progress and the academic results of students, the quality of teaching and evaluation, the quality and balance of the curriculum, a supportive and stimulating school environment, the efficiency of the administration and the leadership of the school, and schools that show distinguished performance or a remarkable improvement that becomes qualified to raise fees within certain limits. In increasing fees, as high -quality education requires an investment, and here comes the role of the cost of education (ECI) that tracks the increasing operational costs facing schools, to ensure the continued provision of a distinguished educational experience for students, including employing and preserving educational cadres, developing tools and technologies used in the classroom, and providing high -quality student services and facilities, as it ensures the cost of education (ECI), That any change in the fees be studied, justified and linked to the quality of education.

The department stressed that the increase in the fees is calculated, through the achievement of the school wishing to raise the fees two basic conditions, the first for achieving a high level of evaluation, or a noticeable improvement in the last two visits to inspect the elevation, and the second condition is the cost of certified education that justifies the increase. Upon completion of these two conditions, the school can apply for the request to amend the fees, pointing out that the identification of the increase in the fees is once approved by the increase from the Department of Education and Knowledge, and the school will inform the parents directly, confirming its endeavor to determine the fees of schools in a reasonable, clear and compatible level with the level of education provided.
