Zamalek threatens to escalate after postponing the decision to deduct 3 points from Al -Ahly

In its official statement issued on Thursday, the Zamalek club expressed its strong dissatisfaction with the continued postponement of the decision of the Egyptian Football Association’s Appeals Committee in the grievances presented regarding the penalties of the canceled summit match against Al -Ahly.

The club’s statement came hours after the federation announced the postponement of its decision until May 15, justifying this that the reasons for the grievance decision were not received from the Club Association.

The crisis of the summit match had exploded after Al -Ahly refused to go to the meeting scheduled for March 11 in protest against the appointment of an Egyptian arbitration team, so that the Clubs Association decided to consider Zamalek as a winner with deducting points from Al -Ahly before partially retreating from the punishment, which prompted Zamalek to present the decision.

In his statement, Zamalek condemned what he described as “the absurd scene and random control” in managing the game system, considering that the postponement of the appeal decision is not surprising.

The club accused the competition of the competition of the existence of a “adherent desire” to serve a party at its account, stressing that “procrastination” has become the method followed, and demanding justice before May 13.

For its part, the Egyptian Federation clarified that the Appeals Committee decided to postpone the lack of completion of the papers and the failure to receive the reasons for the club’s association’s decision, and announced that the chair of the Competitions Committee of the Association for the May 15 session was summoned before the final decision was issued.
