Sultan Al Qasimi chairs the first meeting of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research
Sharjah, May 14 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressed the great role of universities in upgrading society, pointing to the importance of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research that was established specifically to assist universities and academies in the emirate to continue the march of higher education that started since 1997 when the establishment of the University of Sharjah and the American University in Sharjah is still continuing to provide the best science for its students according to the latest educational and educational curricula.
This came during the presidency of His Highness the first meeting of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research that was held this morning in the circuit of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Academy of Police Sciences, Vice -President of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, President of Sharjah University, Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the American University of Sharjah, and Sheikha Hor bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the University of International Studies, and members of the Council, Presidents and Heads of Universities, Academies and Higher Education Institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
His Highness the President of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research dealt with many topics that specialize in the work of universities and academies within the scope of higher education, pointing to his personal follow -up for everything that concerns it because of the importance of science in the life of the individual and society, and that science is wide and dangerous because it can be destroyed and in which it revives.
His Highness dealt with the importance of the correct establishment of scientific institutions from the beginning, recalling His Highness the beginning of the establishment of universities in the Emirate of Sharjah and the use of empowered scientific and administrative experiences, to start strongly and to follow the example And make the appropriate decisions for it.
His Highness the Chairman of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research stressed the importance of choosing a university professor who is able to carry out his teaching, research and scientific responsibilities to the fullest extent as he must be able to communicate the scientific material that concerns him and is distinguished for all students and ensuring that it is fully absorbed in addition to the role of the university administration in following up the implementation of the educational process continuously, pointing out that the administration of educational institutions in Sharjah is a deliberate process, monitoring and looking at the interest The student is primarily, as well as the interest of society from these sciences.
His Highness stressed the interest in education and he said: “The educational process concerns me in the first place and educational in the second degree, and science does not know a home, color, shape, or language, and we reveal this science and respect it and respect the owners of science and respect the learners because we know the value of science.”
He stressed the role of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research in supporting universities, academies and educational institutions in the emirate and stressed that it does not interfere in the affairs of internal institutions and that he is a supporter of institutions with what the council possesses of scholars, expertise and practices.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Vice -Chairman of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research, delivered a speech in which he said: “We thank you, His Highness, this trust, and we bless ourselves to establish this council, and we pledge to your Highness to preserve this high level of these universities and colleges, and we all work under the banner of your highness to improve this level and this educational and educational process, And exalted, then with your directives, we will be, God willing, when good thought. “
Dr. Mansour Muhammad bin Nassar, Legal Adviser, Head of the Legal Department of the Sharjah Government, was followed during the meeting legal legislation related to the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research, which is as follows: Emiri Decree No. (14) of 2025 AD regarding the establishment and organization of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Emiri Decree No. (15) of 2025 AD regarding the formation of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Administrative Decision No. (2) for the year 2025 AD regarding the formation of the permanent executive committee of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research.
