Ahmed bin Mohammed visits the international police summit exhibition in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the second deputy governor of Dubai, visited today, Wednesday, the Global Police Summit, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him, at the Dubai World Trade Center, bearing the slogan “Design the next future in police work”, and attended by a group of police leaders worldwide.

During a tour of the exhibition, His Highness, accompanied by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al -Murri, Commander -in -Chief of Dubai Police, was briefed on the most prominent of the exhibitors, who exceeded 200 exhibitors from various companies and prominent institutions in the fields of modern technology and artificial intelligence, and the partner with the law enforcement institution worldwide, from solutions that contribute to enhancing security and safety in societies.

His Highness visited the main platform of the Dubai Police General Command in the exhibition, as it was seen on the “Virtual Training Patrol”, which was used in training and qualification of patrol officials and drivers in the General Traffic Department and the police centers, through the virtual applications and scenarios that mimic police operations on the ground.

His Highness, the second deputy of the Dubai Governor, praised the efforts of the Dubai Police to keep pace with global progress and adopt the most advanced technologies in the world, and the innovations it makes and the contributions it promotes from Dubai’s position as the best city in the world to live, work and visit, as these efforts resulted in achieving security and safety rates that are higher in the world, stressing His Highness that the level of advanced performance of Dubai Police is the results of the vision and directives of the rational leadership that He pays most attention to ensuring the security and safety of all components of society, including individuals and institutions at all times.


During the tour, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum listened to an explanation about the patrol developed by Dubai Police as part of its innovative efforts aimed at providing training services for its cadres with international specifications, and building smart learning systems that keep pace with future developments and trends in the world of training, development and rehabilitation of human resources.

His Highness also stopped at the Dubai Police Electronic Games platform, and listened to an explanation about an interactive electronic game developed by the Dubai Police, with the aim of enhancing communication and reaching community members of the young and young generation for those who are more likely to do this type of game, to communicate societal and security awareness messages to them in a way that suits them.

His Highness’s tour included in the exhibition to see the latest innovations in the field of security technology, artificial intelligence, security and criminal data analysis, cybersecurity, digital data, drones, robots, cars and modern periodicals that support police operations and various tasks.

It is worth noting that the exhibition and the global police summit constitute an international platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise between the police around the world, and the organization of the event comes within the framework of the efforts of Dubai Police to develop its future capabilities and consolidate international cooperation in facing the emerging security challenges, reflecting the UAE vision in the security and police leadership worldwide.
