Schools that mobilize parents to update students’ data

Government schools in the various emirates of the state mobilized the parents to update students’ data, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Education, in a move aimed at enhancing the accuracy of the information registered in the official systems, and its alignment with the approved national standards.
School departments sent official messages to parents through electronic platforms and approved communication channels, which were seen by “Emirates Today”, as they urged them to complete the update procedures within the specified time period, with the attachment of the required original documents.
Schools demanded the parents ’parents to bring the original and a copy of the registration summary, provided that the summary number is clarified, along with a copy of the passport and the ID card for the student. The mothers of the students also called for providing the administration with a picture of the passport and personal identity, to complete the necessary data.
Regarding the children of the female citizens, an additional document package has been identified that includes the birth certificate, pictures of the student’s passport, the passport and the identity of the mother, in response to the registration requirements for this category.
School departments stressed that the purpose of these procedures is to ensure the reliability of data within the Ministry’s regulations, in a way that enhances the quality of the educational and administrative services provided, and contributes to supporting the processes related to registration, transfer, and health and social services directed to students.
She stressed the necessity of adhering to the declared dates, explaining that if the guardian cannot attend, the student can be authorized to submit the required documents to the Student Affairs Office inside the school, provided that the communication numbers approved for the father and the mother are attached, and a recent personal photo of the student.
She explained that the parents who have previously completed the process of updating the data during the current academic year are not obligated to re -submit the documents, unless fundamental changes occur in the student’s data.
