The Ministry of Culture signs three cooperation agreements to enhance the cultural scene in the country

Abu Dhabi, May 15 WAM / The Ministry of Culture signed three new cooperation agreements with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Knowledge, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Cultural Center, and the Federation of Emirates Writers and Writers, aimed at enhancing cultural and knowledge cooperation and developing joint creative initiatives that contribute to the consolidation of the national identity and the advancement of the cultural scene in the UAE, in the framework of its participation in the thirty -fourth session of the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition For the book.
The agreements were signed by His Excellency Mubarak Al -Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, with both His Excellency Jamal bin Huwairb, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Knowledge, His Excellency Maryam Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, and His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, President of the Federation of Emirates Writers and Writers.
Al -Nakhi stressed that the three agreements represent an important step in stimulating the cultural movement locally and enhancing the presence of the UAE on the regional and international arenas through qualitative projects that focus on creativity, identity and cultural communication, indicating that it comes within the Ministry’s efforts to build effective strategic partnerships with leading national cultural institutions, in the framework of our continuous endeavor to expand the scope of cooperation with our national partners to establish the UAE’s position as a center International cognitive and creative, through which we seek to empower authors and creators, and to provide knowledge and cultural content that reflects our values and identity, and is in line with the aspirations of future generations.
He added: “The launch of these qualitative initiatives during the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair embodies our commitment to transforming culture into an active element in development, and by providing an incubating environment for cultural and knowledge innovation in the state.”
His Excellency Jamal bin Huwairb said: “This agreement embodies a strategic step by enhancing cognitive integration with our national partners, and at the forefront of the Ministry of Culture, which plays a pivotal role in drawing the features of the state’s knowledge scene, and that this qualitative cooperation will contribute to the launch of leading initiatives that accompany our government’s ambitions in consolidating the knowledge economy, by supporting Arab digital content, enabling Emirati writers and creators, And expanding the channels of publishing knowledge through innovative projects that will be worked on, such as: the authors ’platform, and the mobile book exhibition, in addition to benefiting from our existing projects, most notably the digital knowledge center and a break of knowledge, and through this partnership, we aim to create a sustainable impact that reflects the vision of our rational leadership, and enshrines the position of the UAE as a global center for the knowledge industry and its export.
“Since the first launch of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan’s cultural and educational institutions, we are working to enhance national values and cultural identity of Emirati society, and promoting reading was a human behavior and supporting its transformation from a mere hobby that some practice to a daily habit that everyone practices a goal for us On targeting children so that this behavior grows with them, and it becomes a daily habit they practice in order to stimulate their mental abilities and the structure of the critical mind on which innovation, creativity and exit outside the stereotypes of ideas in order to achieve the vision of our wise leadership, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, in the value of man as a real abundance of Emirati society, so the civilization of the future is established. “
She added: “Today our signature of this agreement comes with the Ministry of Culture, with the aim of enhancing cultural, intellectual and innovative awareness through training programs, cultural events and programs that depend on artificial intelligence techniques in line with the continuous developments of the age, an agreement that confirms the value of coordination between the state and civil society and public benefit societies, and this coordination enhances the ability to effectively positive in society.”
Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi said: “The agreement comes to revitalize an important art in literature, which is the art of writing the biography, stressing that the Ministry of Culture and Union seeks through this initiative to document the progress of national personalities that had a profound impact in the fields of culture, media, and society, and it also contributes greatly to encouraging Emirati writers to go through the experience of this important literary field, whether in the form of a CV or a heterosexual biography.
The first agreement signed with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation aims to develop a number of qualitative projects, the most prominent of which is the inclusion of the Ministry of Culture’s publications in the Platform of the Digital Knowledge Center, the launch of the platform of Emirati authors and creators, and the organization of the mobile book exhibition in cultural centers, as well as supporting the national indicators related to reading and publishing, and organizing joint activities to revive the international days approved by “UNESCO” such as the International Day For Arabic, International Book Day, and others.
As for the second agreement signed with the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Cultural Center, it aims to educate society about the importance of reading, implementing joint cultural and training programs that focus on promoting cultural and literary awareness, refining intellectual and creative skills for new generations, with a focus on the use of artificial intelligence in culture and building building, and supporting the initiatives hosted by the state in cooperation with international and regional organizations that contribute to spreading knowledge and promoting identity National, and activating the participation of community groups, especially children and youth, in the programs and awards of international and regional organizations.
The third agreement with the Federation of Emirates Writers and Writers aims to implement the joint cultural publications project, which includes writing a course of four Emirati literary and intellectual personalities from the flags of literature and thought, highlighting their contributions affecting the development of the Emirati cultural identity, according to accurate standards and joint supervision between the two parties.
