Uber’s regular journey in Hollywood, Florida, turned into a moment of terror, after a driver directed a fire weapon towards an emerging rapper and her friend, in an accident and trusted by a phone camera and left a widespread shock on social media.

The incident occurred last Tuesday, when the rising rapper, Christiani Cellis, known as the Bomb a Christy, boarded an Uber car with her friend. During the trip, a severe dispute erupted between her and the driver after Silis tried to provide guidance around the road.

According to the circulating video, the driver responded angrily, saying: “You do not need your guidance, I have GPS”, before the tension escalates quickly, and the driver is to withdraw a pistol and direct it directly towards the two passengers, asking them to leave the car immediately.

In the video, the driver seemed to hold a phone with a hand, and a weapon with the other hand, while Silis was trying to calm the situation and document it, saying: “I do not bother you.”

In a statement to the local WSVN station, Silis said that she felt fear for her life, and everything she thought about in those moments was her 4 -year -old son, stressing: “I was afraid, I just wanted to get out of the situation safely for my child.”

For its part, Uber described the incident as “very worrying”, and announced the suspension of the driver’s account and the opening of an internal investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.

Lawyer Carlos Domingz, who is assigned to defend Silis, assured the Daily Mail that they intend to file a lawsuit against Uber, describing what happened as a “strict assault using a deadly weapon”, and added: “Whatever the disagreement, nothing justifies the threat of weapons.” (Arm News)
