Partners in progress 2025 “Dubai

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, inaugurated the work of the “Emirates and India and India conference: Partners in Progress 2025”, which was held yesterday in Dubai.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak stressed that the Emirati Indian relations are based on a firm historical heritage and a common vision for a future based on cooperation, progress and mutual prosperity.
He said in his opening speech that the topic of the conference reflects the depth of trade, economic and cultural relations between the UAE and the Republic of India, and embodies our firm confidence that joint cooperation between the two countries will continue to open broad horizons to achieve mutual benefit and joint growth in various sectors.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak expressed the UAE’s appreciation for the progress that India achieves in various fields, and its growing role on the global scene, pointing out that the historical friendship between the two peoples dates back to long centuries, and today continues its development through fruitful economic and cultural partnerships.
He added that the joint vision that brings together the leaders of the two countries is based on the values of openness, civilized dialogue, and the promotion of peace and prosperity, with a joint commitment to education, sustainability, environmental protection, and the development of trade, investment and culture sectors.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak pointed out that the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him” and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai “may God bless him”, is proceeding to consolidate a development model that combines modernity, heritage, social progress and economic sustainability.
He praised the efforts of Aaron Buri and his work team in the “India Today” group, and the active role of the Emirati Indian Business Council – the Emirates Branch, calling for investing the results of the conference in strengthening bilateral initiatives, highlighting inspiring models, launching prizes for distinguished initiatives, and building sustainable support networks for Emirati Indian partnerships.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, called for continuing to work to build a brighter joint future, by exchanging knowledge and formulating innovative strategies that enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries.
In its first edition, the conference formed a pivotal station in the march of strategic relations between the UAE and India, where the UAE Indian Business Council – the Emirates Branch, in cooperation with the “India Today” group, and the collection of a group of policymakers, business leaders, diplomats, and innovators from both sides, formed in the context of continuing to activate the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the two countries.
The conference came in the wake of the historical visit of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to India, and the signing of a number of important agreements, which confirm the growing momentum in bilateral cooperation relations, especially in the sectors of health care, education and culture.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, stressed in his speech during the conference the importance of the pivotal role of the Emirati Indian Business Council, describing it as “the basic institutional pillar in the comprehensive economic partnership march,” noting that the conference reflects the development of relations between the two countries from the inter -trade stage to close cooperation in multiple strategic areas.
The conference witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the council and the Dubai Health Authority, to establish the “Emirati Indian Friendship Hospital”, in a move that reflects an increasing focus on health care diplomacy and the promotion of humanitarian cooperation.
The conference also included a series of dialogue and discussion sessions, which dealt with topics that include artificial intelligence, energy transformation, digital infrastructure, education, logistics, financial technology, cinema and soft power, with the participation of a group of leaders, experts and pioneers in these areas.
On the Indian side, the conference was attended by a number of ministers from various Indian states, Sanjai Sodahair, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the country, Satish Kumar Seifan, the Consul General of India in Dubai and a group of prominent personalities from the business and academic sector.
