The UAE leads the first day competitions for the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam for Jujitsu

The first day of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam for Jujitsu, which will be held in “Mubadala Arena” in Zayed Sports City, and continues until tomorrow, Sunday, with the participation of a group of the most prominent stars of the game, exceeding 2500 players from 66 countries around the world.
The first day witnessed the establishment of the two amateur and professors categories, amid a large public presence and an enthusiastic atmosphere that reflected the distinguished position of the tournament on the international sports scene, and the pioneering role of the UAE in developing Jujitsu and enhancing its spread globally.
The results resulted in the UAE’s top of the championship’s general ranking, followed by Russia in second place, and Kazakhstan in third place, in a new confirmation of the superiority of Emirati players and their ability to achieve international achievements.
Youssef Abdullah Al -Batran, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Jujitsu Federation, stressed that the Abu Dhabi Grand Salam Championship continues to consolidate its position, one of the most important international destinations for the stars of the game, indicating that the continuous efforts that the UAE is making support the development of the game and provide it with talented cadres.
Al -Batran praised the strong technical level witnessed by the first day competitions, and expressed his pride in the distinguished performance of the UAE players and players, which reflects the high capabilities enjoyed by the people of the country, and their constant readiness to compete at the highest levels.
A number of winners expressed their happiness with victory, stressing that the Abu Dhabi Grand Salam Championship is an important station in their sporting career, due to the strength of the competition and the high level of the organization.
“Winning in this tournament has a special character thanks to the distinguished technical and organizational level I thank those in charge of the event, and I look forward to more successes in the future.”
The Emirati champion, Manea Al -Marzouki, who has a golden weight of 94 kg, expressed his happiness with his performance, and said: “It was a wonderful day, and I performed a performance that reflects the volume of effort and preparation that I did .. This participation is one of the most prominent stations in my sports career.”
