He explained that the conclusion of the annual season of Abu Dhabi Grand Slam for Jujitsu in its tenth edition remains a prominent station on the map of sports achievement, after the season recorded an unprecedented participation that exceeded the barrier of 8,000 players and players from more than 100 countries, they competed in the most prominent global capitals in various continents, in a scene that reflects the leading position of Abu Dhabi as a global center to develop this sport.

In his remarks on the sidelines of his attendance at the closing day competitions of the closing round of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam for Jujitsu, he pointed out that the great demand from the world classified in the various rounds of the tournament confirms the credibility of the organization and the level of competition, and embodies the growing global confidence in the Abu Dhabi championships, which has become a criterion for quality and development, explaining that the Federation’s studied strategy contributed to the consolidation of the Emirates site As the largest developer of jujitsu sport in the world.

Al -Hashemi thanked and appreciated the work teams in the federation’s executive management, the Abu Dhabi Association for the Jujitsu Professionals and the International Vision for Sports Management IVSM, and the families and families of the UAE players and players who support them, stressing that the concerted efforts resulted in an exceptional season at all levels, and stressed that these data combined made the Jujitsu a national sport embodies the values ​​of endurance, discipline and excellence, It enhances the sporting identity of the UAE.

Al -Hashemi revealed that there is a trend to increase the number of external rounds in the Abu Dhabi Grand Salam Championship during the coming seasons, to include new capitals within different continents, in parallel with the expansion of other championships organized by the World Vision Company around the world, which is scheduled to reach 500 championships in the next season, covering most of the major cities and capitals.

He stressed that the number of participants in the Abu Dhabi Championships during the current season exceeded 100 thousand players, while future plans aim to reach 500 thousand players and players during the next few years, then to one million participants and participation in less than ten years, in line with the national ambitions to consolidate the UAE global leadership in this sport.

He added: “Reaching the stage that the sport of jujitsu is with its values, goals and achievements is a living and firm reality in the Emirates as a national sport, a major responsibility that must be accompanied by continuous efforts to preserve the gains, and work to double them in the future. Despite what has been achieved, we consider ourselves in the middle of the road with our basic mission, which is building strong generations capable of preserving the state’s gains and contributing effectively in building Its bright future, especially in light of the leadership directives that put “one number” and the first place is a permanent goal in all fields.

Regarding the achievements of the national teams in the last championships, Al -Hashemi explained that it is good, and that the ceiling of ambition is greater, indicating that the preparations are underway to achieve distinguished results starting from the Asian Championship hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan this month, through a number of continental and global entitlements, expressing his confidence in the ability of the Emirates Champions to sustain the superiority of the coronation platforms that they used to On it, despite the expansion of the circle of international competition and its increase in strength.
